Pool liner notes

We knew we had a problem with the pool this year when the tarp sucked in a couple of the water bags we use along the edges of the tarp to hold it in place.
There was a leak in the pool, and all the water was leaking out.
This can be dangerous, because an empty pool can become very buoyant when there is a lot of water in the ground, like say when it rains a lot.
Remember all that rain we had a week or two ago?
Ya.
Well, we had been planning to replace the liner some time in the next year or two, so we got
Snow Pools
to replace the liner and fix the leak.
First they ripped a bit of it off to check the walls underneath.

Partially ripped-away lining near the far water feed

Rusty, rusty pool

Before: you can see where there was a leak and the water travelled along the other side of the liner until it found a way down into the ground.

After: all cleaned up!
