It seems that Apple wants to hire a Windows developer to work on iTunes for Windows. Cool!

I guess I should mention that while I was at it, I decided to change the URL of my page. It used to be tnir.org/~rae/ but now it’s just rae.tnir.org. All the old picture links should continue working; I’ve set up a rewrite rule in the web server for that. Actually, I think I have a few more things to move around now. Some URLs won’t be working for a little while, but they will eventually. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I have MT all set up now, and am using Kung-Log to add this entry. Movable Type has some basic design flaws which are irritating after using LiveJournal for so long. However, I’m LiveJournal has its own flaws, so maybe I’ll get used to them. The main one is that MT needs to “rebuild”. I don’t understand why this is, especially when there is a database back-end like MySQL. Surely it can be more dynamic and not require these batch operations. Such operations are a prime failure point as a log gets older and bgger. Ah well

I’m setting up Movable Type. We’ll see how this goes.
